"Tim and John Menzel's latest effort(The Subhumans of Suburbia)
brings to mind Steely Dan, Captain Beyond, Blow by Blow-era Jeff Beck,
Tortelvis, Seatrain,The Mahavishnu Orchestra, Frank Zappa, Weather Report,
Neil Young,Gentle Giant, King Crimson, the Grateful Dead and The Allman Brothers Band;
while the group's most modern influence seems to be John S. Hall, circa his
lost penis fronting a six-song version of Primus."
