Victor Chambray was born and raised on the Island of Bermuda and has had an extensive career as a vocalist.
Victor pursued his musical career after moving to Vancouver, Canada with his family in the late 70s and has worked with some of Canadas top musicians and bands, fronting for such acts as Banshee and Zingo, with guitarist Keith Scott of now Bryan Adams fame. A record deal was signed with British producer John Schroeder of Casa Blanca/Pinnacle Records with a single released in Canada and the U.K.
Returning home to Bermuda, Victor formed Bermudas top band, Sharx, regularly playing the most popular nightspot on the Island, the 40 Thieves Club, and other venues. His first solo CD project was recorded in New York City in 1996 with help from long-time friend, producer/guitarist Jeff Golub, formerly of the Rod Stewart band and featuring the combined talent of the Rod Stewart and Saturday Night Live band rhythm sections. The CD was released with the first single Valentinos making it to the Rick Dees World Chart Show in the summer of that year.
Today Victor works both as a solo artist and lead vocalist with a band, performing for conventions and large group functions. He is currently appearing at the world class Fairmont Southampton Princess Hotel & Resort in Bermuda.
