These songs came
about through the years. I never imagined that they would be the
portraits of my life.
I've had good times and hard times. I had to learn to live. I had to
learn to see the world from various angles. I had to learn to share.
I had to know what it is to be a father, and today, my five children
are my life's fortune.
I could have never done it without my wife, Marta, my companion in
life. She was always by my side, believing in me, sharing my passion
for music and my family, suffering through the trivial life of a
musician.
With the piano as my pen, I have traced the path of my life with
hers. I wrote the first song of this series in 1975, and since that
date, I have composed the history of our love.

| One morning, with the strong sunlight coming in through the window, I
started remembering a walk that we took when we were young. We shared our
thoughts as we faced the world. We walked through the streets of Buenos
Aires. We saw a movie, had some ice cream, walked through the plaza and so
many other little things... In a sea of people, we were but a grain of sand
discovering a new world. It's been 30 years, and we are still together...
that walk was not in vain! |
