A summer job on Block Island turned into a nightmare. My boss gave me an ultimatum ("work 19 consecutive days before you can take two days off") and I rejected it and said, "I Am Not Your Slave."
Packed my bags and caught the next ferry-- 15 minutes later-- to the mainland. This is "I Am Not Your Slave" performed at Open Mic at Club Soda, July 2 by David Kay and unknown bassist & drummer. |

Recorded one 20th Century December night in Rochester (NY) with Andy McCormick (piano, vocals), David K (plunger trumpet, vocals), it's become an anthem for the out-of-luck dot com generation. Sing it. Learn it. Sing it again. |
