24.4.01 Welcome.
I
began this site just recently as a creative outlet for my
music. Previously, I was working on the project at purpleplate
but progress had stalled and I thrive on change. I decided to lead
off with the requiem, a series of four pieces with Baroque themes
and dance beats. I am still at a loss as to how to classify these
tracks, so if you have suggestions, please leave a comment below.
With the requiem nearly complete, I have been sketching out the next project,
something a bit more jovial, but stay tuned for the big finale, the
4th movement. -dr j

The last movement of the requiem manifests the Classical element and modern dance element by juxtoposition, DnB sandwiched by a waltz. Patience is rewarded near the 1:00 mark, so stick around for the pie. Tasty.

The dance for the dead continues in an indefatigable tempo; the strings and chorus driving this twirling two-step to the grave. Intense and unrelenting. 161bpm |
