This is a techno "Rave" type mix of music I was commissioned to write for a contempoaray production of the popular musical "West Side Story." Used in place of the "Dance at the Gym" Sequence, this song is actually 4 "songs" mixed into one continuous track of music. |

This piece was written using under the tutelage of the University of Illinois's Zack Browning. Professor Browning writes his music through the use of a magic sqaure (matrix in which all rows and diagnols add up to same number.) This trio for Bassoon, Clarinet, and Flute is my first attempt at employing the magic square as a compositional techniqee. |
