| I was strolling along in a Northern city; snow on the ground, wind howling through naked trees, an urban part of town, all concrete and industry. Although there was a small park I had to cut through, hunched over from the wind I looked down and through the snow a very small red flower had blossomed. I was very moved, and created this composition. Against all odds, anything can be achieved. |
