Go is now The Polyester Project (July 25, 2001)

I'm leaving this page up for a while, seeing as how it already has a lot of tunes up on it. The name change came about when I was in Windsor, Ontario (visiting and whatnot). It seems to suit me better, and to tell you the truth, I was never too fond of the name Go.

So you are encouraged to check the new page out. It already has one new tune you won't find on here, and I'll probably start moving these over eventually, I don't know...

New tune just in time for summer! (June 22, 2001)

Found some inspiration this morning and finished recording a tune I've been working on for a while now, but couldn't get happening. The inspiration came from a rather simple (cliche even) lead guitar part, which lifted the choruses nicely. The tune unfortunately won't appear on here for another week or so due to the mp3.com review process and whatnot, but stop back soon to check it out, it's called 'As minutes inch backwards'. It makes heavy references to one of Winnipeg's booming industries: telemarketing, which was what I was doing at the time I wrote this just over a year and a half ago.

    A brand new photo! (June 7, 2001)

Just added a new photo so y'all can see what I looks like. This photo was taken on April 14th at Rogues Gallery on Assinniboine Ave. a block over from my apartment (in Winnipeg, MB). It was my first performance in over a year and a half! The lady singing with me is the talented Rachael Hosein (in all her amazing glory).

Another two songs! (June 4, 2001)

It should still take a week or so to see them, but there will be two new songs appearing soon on here, with better sound quality to boot! These are a couple of older tunes, both written about two years ago. One's called 'We both lose', which is a rocker, and the other is called 'The truth and the matter' which is just me and my guitar. Enjoy!

For your listening pleasure... (May 25, 2001)

I'm seeing two new songs up here, so give them a listen! They're the top 2. Also, a third appears to have a "GOING LIVE" status in the admin panel, which I'm assuming means it's going up as we speak. So check that one out too! It's called 'Ballad in F major'.

I'm going to Long & McQuade tomorrow after work, so I'll have a new microphone, and recording shall be resumed as well, so yeah... more tunes soon!!!

Okay, no new songs yet... (May 17, 2001)

Those two I mentionned earlier are still waiting for approval. Wow, it takes a long time if you're not a paying member now!

Anyway, they shall be here soon enough, along with (shortly or not so shortly after them) another tune. Unfortunately, this third tune only has a guide vocal track on it because my mic just broke. This also means recording is currently on hiatus, until I can get my ass down to the music store to rent a new one (which hopefully I won't break).

Just added 2 new songs! (May ?, 2001)

I just bought a Behringer Eurorack 8-track mixer from Long & McQuade last month, and these new tracks are the fruits of my learning how to use it... Hope you enjoy!

This was a ballad, when I used to play it on my acoustic... what happened? The lyrics are pretty depressing on this one.

I wrote this about an argument Rachael and I had at Rocha Jacks coffee shop (on Corydon, in Winnipeg), when I came to visit the second or third time (pretty certain it was the third). The original guitar part was written years before, as early as grade 9 or 10 even...
