This song started out as "The Piano Song," but after several years the words were finally written and it turned into a nice song about my first visit to an Irish pub. The mandolin part at the end is "Lightnin'," a very old Carnivorous Grass song. |

This song documents the fictional friendship between Jacques Cousteau and Japanese pitcher Hideki Irabu, and the effect Jacques's death had on Hideki's ability to stay in the strike zone and pick up girls. |

This is actually one of the oldest Vetivers songs, first developed for electric guitar. Forgotten about for three or four years, this song re-emerged as a fake bluegrass number and was included on the Twelve O'Clock album. |
