a warm lotech symphony of pulsating guitar textures, latin style tin beats, melodic bass & twittering digibeats. this is actually the very first final mix, so it's really an unfinished version. started back in '97 or '98 and reworked in early 2002. |

a nu jazz masterpiece! an oddball rhythm churns and sculpts itself underneath driving bass, winding piano and jazzy acoustic guitar. All improvised first takes.(each track was recorded separately. mixed in a head spinnin dub style. My personal Favorite!a lazy afternoon journey through many a mood.. |

this track is actually two connected songs. the first is a scattered beat excursion that bounds along on skittery beats and a bouncy bassline, ending with some jazz/funk inflected turntable antics- the track then flows into the steamy pressure cooker cymbalism of the more laid back "basmati" (yes, that's what's cookin!). plenty of tape manipulated beats on this combo! |
