This is the opening track on the debut CD "Diary of a Lost Soul". It is a classic progressive song that begins with a dreamy introduction leading into a very melodic guitar riff that makes up the verse and chorus sections, then explodes into a variety of peaks and valleys. This song includes a "flamenco" style acoustic guitar section that is accompanied by piano, shakuhachi and analog synths, then eventually breaks into a guitar solo, followed by a mini moog lead.

I'm the One is a heavier guitar driven song that takes the listener through a ride of progressive mayhem, featuring harpsichord, a percussion breakdown (middle section) and a fast paced guitar and hammond organ duel that wraps up with a climatic and powerful ending. This song represents a drastic change in the flow of the CD as it becomes darker and heavier.

Nightmare Madness is the instrumental section of the four part song "Second Chance". It features odd time signature changes, heavy guitar riffs, hammond organ, a wild violin part that is very remniscent of old Kansas.
