Hey, thanks for checking out the Go Downs! They're a band from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, and their debut CD is called "Love and Marine Biology".
They make power pop with alt.country leanings -- think Elvis Costello writing songs in a Nashville motel (with the Monkees on TV in the background) and you're halfway there.
Interested? Take a listen. (To hear all the songs on this page, click the "Hi Fi Play" link in the blue box immediately below this message.) When you're done, email Aaron and let him know what you think, or check out the Almavale Sound Recordings website.
Enjoy!
