Couple days ago was so frustrated that I packed up some of my equipment and rolled to several places here in town and did some serious soloing for a couple minutes. You should have seen the looks. Priceless. Made me feel a whole lot better. And I will do it again. -- Well, the gig never happened simply because I still don't have enough players (drummer to be exact and I'm tired of doing it alone) I humbly apoigize to Dwayne because he reached out to me trying to help. Dwayne, I went and practiced once with another bass and drummer but they, once again, couldn't handle, Morris Taylor. And believe me, I was holding back trying not to scare them off. Like I said, I need a manager. -- Next month I should have a gig around 30 July and am really looking forward to it. So stand by and if your in town, come on out and have a listen. -- When dominoes are stacked just right one affects all and I have to tell you all about my friend Jeffrey (Bodine)Singleton. He is the reason why I started playing guitar. And I believe Jeffery started playing because of his brother William (Bimbo) Singleton. Bimbo joined the Air Force and came home on leave. Like everyday I would be down to the Singleton's house and looked up and there was Bimbo strumming a box guitar. Chang a lang lang, chang a lang lang William was. So we just watched in amazement. A short time later Bodine told me that he was playing guitar and I got my bongos and we started playing. I said, Daaammmm, Jeffrey is jamming. That's when I thought to myself, I want to learn too and that's how I got started. Robert, Jefferys brother started playing also after that. And I tell you all this. There are some tough musicians in Mobile Heights(Montgomery, Alabama), Jeffery Single, Robert Singleton, Steve Boyd, Spitshine on on and on. I am especially proud of Bodine because he has never stopped working to find his dreams. He plays guitar, keyboards and has been vocally compared with Michael Jackson. Respectfully to Michael, Bodines better. Everytime I watch the grammys I am looking for him cause he will be there. I just know it. Me, I joined the Navy, left home and have been struggling every since to just gig. So thanks Jeffrey. You really made my day when you visted my site bro. Also a shout to the entire Singleton family. You all will have to read the rest to understand what I'm talking about. Please note that -- is for breaks between additions to the site. -- So how do you all releive stress? I play music, basketball, meditate are some of the ways that work for me. It's not good to keep things in all the time so find a positive way to ventilate. -- I took my hair down the other day and wanted to share some pictures with you. I usually have a fro but now I have dred locks. Yaaa Maaann, let's rock. I'm getting ready to go to the streets and just play. So look out for me. I may be on the side of the road playing old angsign. Hope I don't get my ass whooped, but I have to play. Am getting a lot of downloads now and that's great. But remember my music is always changing getting faster, stronger and more intense. What you hear here are my shadows. So come out and see me play. It's going higher by the day. The other night I attended an open mic at the Brickhouse coffee shop here in Denton and was quite refreshing. Got to know some of the locals and really had a good time at it. I'll be there on Thursdays in the future so if you're around come and join. Just really great to get out and do something. I've got a whole lot of music to get out yet. My next CD title "A Friend For You" is in the making. Have picked up some top notch equipment and lots of it. Bout to run my wife Susie crazy, love YOU baby. It's not easy living with a man like me. So no more excuses cause vacations over. Time To Play. -- Hey ya'll guess what? I had several gigs at the Palm Beach Club in Dallas a few weeks ago. Believe me, I vented and turned a few heads. Couldn’t help but cry a little as I heard my music going over the loud speakers and out onto the streets. Now that’s a great blues picture. Guitar player soloing, eyes closed with tears rolling down his face. Just as I started to play I noticed the looks on everybody’s faces. Got some oooo's and aaaaa's with this “OH MY GOODNESS what the &*%$# is this looks. Thanks to Darvy who while in search for a drummer was at a music store and ran across this guy Keith who knew a couple other people and the next thing I know is that we have gigs lined up. The guy paying really liked what he heard and told the band that the music will evolve around Me. To make a long story short, the singer got all bent out of shape. Kept interrupting my solo’s and I could tell that this will not work out. But that's okay cause band chemistry is just about everything. Same thing few months ago, hooked up with these guys in Lewisville, Texas. They grew up together and we all were around the same age group. The sound was great and was told that I got the job. Well this one didn’t work out either. I think I did too much. Hey when the feeling hits me to do something, hey I just do it. This 47 year old can still move around, up and down like someone in his 20’s,,,,as such. Chemistry again was not quite right so I had to move on. So I am trying, but I must try harder. Had to chuckle a bit when these guys I was playing with up in Baltimore told me that you want to be Jimi and us to be the Experience and we just ain't gonna do it. Just to be compared with the mighty Jimi Hendrix is a true honor. We all know what Jimi did and continuing to do through his legacy. So I am not bitter and can totally understand the whys of what I am going through. I just smile in the light of the potential. My Australian site http://www.mp3.com.au/morristaylor has by far gotten the most downloads and streams. But look at the comment section. Only one person has posted anything. And I know the person who sent it because I burned some CD’s for him, so in return, I asked for a comment. Funny thing about that is that after seeing what he posted I tried to email him a thank you and his address was gone. Had to laugh about that too and thanks for your comments where ever you are. Last time I checked Would You Like To Live Forever number was #25 out of about 7 or 8 thousand on the Psychedelic charts. It has been as high as number 4 and kind of acts like the stock market if you know what I mean. They have a review section that I have several times requested a review and they don’t even answer. Why? Ask them for yourself, maybe they will listen to you. Again, I am not bitter and confident that the people will accept me when my time comes in front of the bright lights. I am not saying that I will be the next King Of Rock And Roll, but I'm good enough to be part of the Rainbow. I and F (IF) is such a very small word to be the dividing line between what’s real and fantasy and is one of the most powerful words I know. I don’t blame anybody but myself for what I have not done. Music is a business and rejection is just a part of it. I am very shy and kind need a nudge to get me started. But once I walk through the revolving doors, IT'S ON BABY!!!! So it’s up to me. I have gotten enough equipment so now I can hit the streets and take it to the people. I may have found a drummer in Keith from Oak Cliff, Texas and a keyboard player in Ladonna from Desoto, Texas. Prey for me that I develop the conviction to just go out there and play. My father Frank (Moon) Taylor passed a couple months ago and he joins my mother Willie Mae, and sister Carolyn. Life is so short, and so precious. I’ll leave you with this thought. I want you to think back to your beginnings. Remember, we were from conception one of millions and millions of (tad polls) if you will searching for that EGG. Out of all the millions and millions that could have become a living being. You, you, I and we got to the egg first. Remember that next time you see someone win the lottery. Millions and millions of people are trying to get that one “EGG”. Plus, we are top of the food chain. Generally we (man) are not eaten as such. So tell this to your children. For the other side of life is probably more real than this one, but don’t rush it. Planet Earth, is a beautiful place to be. P.S. Jimi took us higher. He gave us all something to reach for. So I say again, as such I am the Genie Of The Lamp. We all know what genies do when they finally "GET OUT". Here is the rest of my commercial. -- Morris Taylor Born October 25th, 1955 (Scorpio) in Montgomery, Alabama. I stand 6ft 3in tall, dark and mysteriously handsome. Quiet and shy for the most part ,,,,unless you put a guitar in my hands. I've always been a musician. As a small child at about 6 or 7 I was extremely rhythmic playing piano and dinner table. That's right, I said dinner table. Give me some spoons and a "Dinner Table" and I would put on a rhythmic concert. Just ask my brother Frank. Also am a total git down dancer. No break dancing, but let me show you what I can do with and between the beats kind of dancing. Guitar is what I do best but also play keyboards, bass and drums. Had the best teachers listening to my sister's Rosemary and Carolyn. Hey, Carolyn,,,she had mad finger skills on the piano. I mean really special ways up and down that keyboard. Beethoven, Bach, whoever, you name it, she played it. Played in Church but never really wanted to play "Out" if you will. I miss her and she will Live Forever as well as my Mom Willie Mae Taylor, and now Frank (Moon) Taylor. I never took piano lessons but picked up lots on my own. I've always had a good ear, if you know what I mean. At about 15 Mom and dad went out and bought me some bongos. Was good at them right away. Started teaching myself to play guitar at age 18. Kind of late huh?. This was about 1969-70. My life was changed forever the day my brother Frank brought home from college this album. Jimi Hendrix and a Band Of Gypsies. I have not been the same since. Jimi's solo's, his music, the whole package, was from another Galaxy. That's when I got serious about playing guitar. After seeing some of Jimi's movies and saw what this guy was doing while playing,,,, DID YOU SEE WHAT THIS GUY IS DOING? Sho nuff was hooked for life. But let me say this. I am not trying to be another Jimi Hendrix. Why be just as good as somebody else? That's just like saying I will never be any better than this. So you are all invited to go, Beyond The Experience. Blink a couple times and found myself in the U.S. Navy. Blink again I'm in the Air Force (making me an air headed seadog). Have been practicing now for over 28 years. Believe me, I'm ready. Just hope the World is ready for me. I must get this music out of my head and on to a platform to be heard. And check this, I really want to be a Scientist one day. Just fits my personality I guess. I like all kinds of music and really love to play out live. Something about all that energy and excitement just puts me in a zone. So I am reaching out to the people. I need your help. I have a lot of ideas. Let me give a shout out to all my children, Brian, Robert, Morris, Tanisha, Marvin, Hanna and Michael. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy my Music. Feel free to leave your comments. Also let me also give a shout out to Mr. Joe Kelly. An up coming DJ up in Fairfield, CT. Joe is playing my CD, Visions Of Happiness, like all my works has a passion for Life, Love, Peace and Harmony and I am honored to be included on his show "The Upper Room". Tune in any time 24/7. So my music is being played with the BIG BOYS of the industry. I often wonder if Prince or some of the others know of me. And if they do, what do they think of Morris. I will really like to meet and hang out with these guys. We will have so much fun. Hey Prince, and Morris Day, call me. (940)898-5581.(Hey, JOE KNOWS,, MUSIC). He also does interviews, entertaining and informative. I had mine live on the radio. These interviews give priceless exposure to a real audience. Who knows, I may even have a fan or so. Catch Joe's shows any time 24/7 at, http://www.live365.com/cgi-bin/directory.cgi?autostart=funk7. My songs are also getting airplay on Channel 26 here in Denton. Take a Wrong and make a Right is being used on a commercial. I am pleased to announce that I am the winner of round 46 in the Battle Of The Bands contests on mp3.com. Thanks to the person who helped me to enter and especially to those that voted for me. This is one more step for me and you,,,, all,,,, to meet Face To Face. Live!!!!, And In Concert!!!! The Centrifugal Infinty!!!!What I need is management that can get me to the next level. This is a daunting task, but I am not afraid. Currently we are working to get a show together. Just remember, no man is an island, you need with someone share. Helps you go on living when someone's there. I assure you that when this and that happens, talk about "I Have The Key, Are You The Gate Keeper? See you out there, someday, somehow, somewhere, someway. Peace and Happiness.

This is the CD title song and follows with the Hendrix tradition and gets deeper as you listen to it. Slow and powerful with some space guitar in my opinion. What do you think?
