What
Is Everland?
Do you seek new age, easy listening audio relaxation after a hard day's
work? Then you've come to the right place. Everland is a musical
world of meditation and enlightment, utilising a blend of Vangelis-style
synthesisers, an exploration of sonic textures and memorable, soothing
electronic piano melodies influenced by John Barry and other film composers.
With an emphasis on musicianship and melody rather than layering as many
sounds as possible, Everland was conceived by seasoned mp3.com
soundtrack artist Rob Chilcott and
founded March 2001.

After weeks wandering in the wilderness, surrounded by strange and wonderful creatures and plants, it was a relief to find home... a safe return. |

Inside the painting was a world more beautiful than I'd ever envisaged: the ground was constructed of bright, multi-coloured criss-crossing paths of plastic, and the sky... the sky was an awesome Technicolor mesh of pulsating colours... (For source, see the Song Story. This piece is for Su, with love.) |

A day of rest and a simple, heart-steadying melody was all I needed to find peace in other worlds; birds sang outside my window, my chirpy audience. They understood the melody, the simplicity of nature, heard the words the music spoke. A tune, almost a lullaby, for a restful Sunday afternoon. |
