Living in
the San Francisco Bay area,
Alex Carr
writes
what he affectionately calls "pathetic attempts at love songs." The
music is heavily influenced by eighties synth-pop bands such as The Pet
Shop Boys and Erasure, with a contemporary electronic pop production
style. Alex recently discovered air, and before that he did
nothing. This has been a message from the department of redundancy
department. We now return you to your regularly scheduled
programming. Thank you. |

Sometimes in life we have a tendancy to hang on to things when we know we shouldn't. This is especially true in relationships, I think. This is a song about hanging on to a lost love, even when you know you should just get over it and move on! |

Something that could be almost, but not quite, in the musical style of Britney Spears. The song is about how there is more to a relationship than just having something to hang on to. Relationships, no matter what kind, require work if you are to reap the rewards. It's about the frustration you feel when you really love someone but they just won't get their act together. |

I'm not sure exactly what this sounds like, but it's a song about when someone breaks up with you but still wants to be "friends" and always seems to come around at just the right time. |
