Bettys Ford dynamically combines visceral yet technical rock compositions with
searing melodic guitar and vocal lines to create the quintessential emo-core sound.
The current line-up is the Revised Version of Bettys Ford, an outfit that formed in
late 1999. The band now currently consists of founding members Chris Walker (drums), Richard
Galbraith (guitar), Chad Falkenberg (bass) and newly acquired free agents, Joseph Patlan (vocals)
and Mark Camacho(guitar).
With forays into numerous musical venues, such as Flamingo Cantina, The Backroom, Emos,
& 710 with the previous line-up Bettys Ford quickly developed a following. Now with the upgrade in
personnel and improvements in sound, this outfit is ready to establish itself as one of the elite
rock acts in Austin and in Texas. With a recent bombastic return to the Austin music scene at the
Metro, Bettys Ford showed Austin that they were back and ready to exhilarate crowds once again with
their original sound and mesmerizing live show.
