"Breathtaking..I cannot find words to describe this wonderful, creative music."
- Galen Kline, MBI Records
Welcome to the Cea Serin II page. For those of you who are not familiar with Cea Serin and our music, you may find some
surprises in store for you. This page you are at right now is an experimental section that I've been wanting to do for a while.
I wanted to combine elements of Progressive Trance, New Age, Classical, Rock, with subtle sub-genres of music from across the world
(Oriental, Irish, Russian, Platothesian, etc.) to create a unique listening journey. The five songs you are about to hear will take you down a long
mental and personal road of someone. They are connected and conceptial but not over-the-top and over bearing. The songs may be under the catagory of
"New Age", but I feel these songs should fall into their own catagory because it is difficult for me to pinpoint another artist that writes music
like this. So do not be swayed by the genre if it is initially "not your thing." -J. |
Be sure to check out our other site that contains material from our CD "Chiaroscuro." It's a diverse blend of many styles of music and sounds nothing
like what you will find here. "Chiaroscuro" has gained much success upon it's availability capturing international awards and praise from all walks and backgrounds of music.

a dark intro with pizzacato violins that burst into the third and most intense part. A scream of denial cuts through the pulsing beat and forbodes the coming of the first of solos: piano, bass, and synth. There is a dynamic and prominent string section that adds to the ongoing theme in Taliah-Sy's life and times. One notable part is the slap-pop bass section with oriental melodies. A quiet breakdown and respect ends this trilogy and takes us as we move...Slowly Towards Grace. |

the time of no sound nor music, but thought and self recognition, sets the mood. Mainly piano and saxophone drape the frame of this aftermath piece in Taliah-Sy's hurtling trip. Towards the end, the deaf wanderer closes her eyes, now blind and at peace. As she opens her eyes...the wind, string, and harmonies open their arms to her...leading her to her One Helpless Moment.("There is a time when elegance and emotion meet and pass by your mind and go deep into the heart. This is one of those times. "- Universal Translator) |

A very slow and brooding song. A solitary soprano sax comes in towards the middle to take the place of the moving piano theme. All the while there is the swirling space and colors from the voices and subtle strings. This is the end of the journey and as the piano builds, and voices grow slightly louder there is a dischordant ambience that rises from no where signaling not the climax but acts like a veil shutting the rest of us off, leaving the sole participant alone in her travel. |
