These tracks are intended as a catalog of riffs, only; they are not intended as "finished pieces" or "commercial music" of any kind, thus may contain errors.

I am making these available for background listening, or as a set of riffs that may be copied by someone learning to play Blues, as very little information on, or examples of, the more "primitive" Pre-War Country, Mississippi, or Delta style guitar or Barrelhouse or early Blues Piano is available.  These riffs are essentially original, representative of the mentioned styles, and stream-of-consciouness, as I make no attempt to play the same 'piece' twice.  My interest is in styles and new patterns consistant with the styles, not "songs".

Nomenclature: the names of the tracks state the instrument and their content.
For guitar pieces, "G nn" are all played on my 1935 National steel guitar, Swamp Thing, tuned to Open G and are played in the key of G.  "C in G nn" means the track is played in the key of C while the guitar is tuned to Open G; similarly for "D in G nn".  I know of no one else playing Blues like this.  Further, "b" refers to bottleneck, "r" refers to a religious style, and "A" refers to my wooden Alvarez.
For piano pieces, played on an Alesis QS8 synth, the first, capitalized letter refers to the key, and after two spaces, single letters refer to individual notes, and parentheses (ab) refers to a chord.  In this case, a two note chord with the lower note "a" and the upper note "b".
For example: "C  (d#g)(eg)(ca)(a#g)" is in the key of C, and the first strokes are the chords d#g, eg, ca, and a#g.  Sharps are used exclusively, as no symbol for flats distinguishable from the note "b" exist.

My piano heroes are Montana Taylor and Jimmy Yancey.
