"I was far away from home on March 17th and whenevr I am far away from home on March 17th, someone comes up to me and asks me why I am not fulfilling the stereotypical role of the Irishman abroad on his country's national day by swigging green beer or marching up the road holding a shamrock banner. I used to love St Patrick's Day but it was because it was a school holiday and we could go running by the river..."? |
