Mr. Taylor's unusual anointing is in variety, songwriter, recording artist, as well as, Minister of the Gospel. Not only is his music well balanced, direct and dated, but well rounded to meet the spiritual needs. Mr. Taylor is a menber of the Gospel Music Association (GMA), Washington Area Music Association and a voting member of the Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (The Grammy's) in which he also serves on the Washington, D.C. chapter membership committee. In November of '98, '99 & '00, Mr. Taylor was nominated for a Wammie by the Washington Area Music Association in the category of best Gospel/Inspirational male vocalist. Mr. Taylor is also the international host of the first and only "Online Christian Music Televison Show" of it's kind, The Virgil Taylor's Music Machine at www.christcenteredrecords.com.
