Even if erstwhile drummer Lindsay weren't singing, this would still be an out-of-the-mould Wild West song. Tight, punchy bass and simplistic drums (from non drummer Phil) with drones and fantastic echoed guitar pieces. The singing is great, btw. Was to have been released on a 4 track EP with 3 other bands, it finally made the light of day on the M-Squared label's A Sampler compilation in 1984. |

Based on that slinky old 5/4 rhythm and with a smooth chord progression/riff to match, this is a tale of 2 houses in the inner city. Released as one song on the Beat The Drought EP, it garnered high rotation on Radio station 2JJJ for a few weeks. |

An almost perfect later song notablefor the minor chords, pretty melody, tight, intelligent playing and growling synths. Never before released. |
