semi circus is a blazing miasma of tonal hypothesis and cultural discontent formed from a core group of collaborators:
Thomas Knapp (bass), Walter Pierce (drums, guitars, vocals and sundry)and H. Foreman (vocals). With assists from Jamie Kelly (slide guitar on "Seems Like Old Times Now") and Dennis Skerrett (sax on same and "Don't Ever Let Nobody"), semi circus is creating a musical universe peopled by hucksters, ogres, conspiracy theorists, peanut butter charlatans and little green persons.
The tracks were recorded at M31 Sound (digital 8-track), Lafayette, LA, between late 2000 and early 2001. Parties interested in signing SemiCircus to a lucrative record deal should check out our links page, or contact esp853@cs.com.
