ARKEY BLUE AND KATHI TIMM
(TEXAS DANCE HALL MUSIC)
PRODUCED BY RON KNUTH
A legend in the Texas hill counry, Arkey Blue is
a real cowboy, rancher, and owner of the historical
Silver Dollar Bar where many country music stars
visited or performed and Hank Williams Sr. carved
his initials in the big oak bar.
Arkey and his "Blue Coyboys" perform there two
nights a week and play out of town gigs once or
twice a month. Tour buses make regular stops
at the bar so that foreign fans can meet Arkey and
check out the historical memorabilia on display.
