On this track he does it all, Keys, drum programming and Bass. Every part is super clean. From the writing to the playing. You hear every note and the solo is beautiful, melodic at first and rhytmic in the second part. You will also enjoy the end of the solo (4:21) Visit his website at http://www.geocities.com/spider780 for more information. |

A Jason Rubenstein composition featuring Roman Morykit on bass (From popular mp3 band "Gypsy Soul" / www.mp3.com mp3.com/gypsysoul. Back in October of 1997 David Carol-Libman (Drums), Roman Morykit (Fretless Bass) and Rubenstein played at a local café, improvising over a variety of time signatures and instant chord progressions. Jason recorded the gig and in January 1998 he took the bit they invented in 7/4-time for a song. Once in the studio to record, David played his inspired drum part in one take, solo and all, no over-dubs or fixes. Sheesh. Roman then proceeded to create an amazing fretless bass arrangement....catch his solo; no over-dubs and only two hands, ma. 4:36 |
