"Soaring
vocals, cascading showers of electric 12-string guitar.
A real beauty." Dave Biasotti -

WOW!
Listen to this one. 4 piece band from the UK. Heard the clip of
this somewhere and couldn't find it again. Now they put it up on
mp3.com. Absolutely Great Song! |
This
is an unbelievably beautiful song by a group out of the UK using
a a 1967 330/12 with some tweaked electronics.

Gorgeous,
poppish folk rolk from the UK.Splendid harmonies, along with the
most authoritative electric 12-string guitar playing we've heard
in ages. |
They
Really have that compressor cranked up! Sounds great!...Roger

I
just wanted to mention that today I heard for the first time a song
on the"Rickenbacker" station at mp3.com a song that stood me on
my head. It's by a UK group I've never before heard of called The
Falcons & it's called "It's Gonna Rain Soon." I know
nothing about these guys, but can only tell you it's stunning. Both
vocally & instrumentally. An electric 12-string is heavily featured.
And the interesting thing about it is that, while it's unabashedly
McGuinn-inspired, it employs the when-he-was-conscientiously-practicing-his-scales
5D-era technique in service to an otherwise very straightforward
ballad. MadMeg |
Absolutely
great tune! Time for the new British Invasion with that one.
