You are cordially invited to scope out our whole family of Kentucky hillbilly artistes.
That would include Michael Barger's bitter country songs about his ex-wife.
Also lend an ear to Al Barger's cranky right-wing ranting.
Last, and very possibly least, give a few moments to hear the therapeutically anti-social "comedy" of the Damaged Goods Comedy Shop.

Imagine if Jonathan Richman and Brian Wilson wrote a Pet Sounds style song for Elvis, a high-art Old Shep. This multi-layered tale of a boy and his dog tugs at my heartstrings, for there is no love so pure as between a child and their pet. It is hard to explain the song, for it fits into no obvious genre. It is heavily melody driven, so it might be called some kind of
"ballad," but has a tough rhythmic undercurrent that would make for an interesting
dance record. Also note the fleet-footed jazzy guitar commentary throughout.
Whatever it is, it sure is catchy. | MP3.com CD: Mud Pies for Mommy - buy it!

This gutbucket country stomp could be taken as a backwards defense of Jesus' message of love and acceptance against those who perhaps add human ego to their concept of God. |
