Did some house cleaning on the site - updated info and got rid of a bunch of songs. I re-added the "Damned Souls" demo with vocals, since the vocals on that are better than most of my newer vocals. New song "Bullet Ridden" is up - very intense song. My newest (and best) heavy song should be up shortly, entitled "Laid to Waste" - I wrote it all in the span of a day. It rocks. In other news, Jerry Cantrell is a vocal god (I've been listening to a lot of his solo stuff lately), and don't be surprised if some more songs with harmonized vocals pop up here. Also, my band is now named L.I.E. - no, it doesn't stand for anything, but it looks cool as an acronym.

So much to say, so little room... Got a bunch of new equipment: Line 6 POD 2.0, Soundblaster Audigy, Behringer MX802A mixer, and Cool Edit Pro. I can now record with damn near studio quality, but I'm still messing with it to get the best sound possible. As for my band... well... we ditched our name. We now have no name. Why, you ask? Well, there's another band called Rust - plus it was kind of a crappy name. The newest song, "Sick of it All", should be up here soon. As should the new main artist image. "Sick of it All" is some of the band's new material, the MP3 that will be up here is only a demo - granted, better quality than anything ELSE here in terms of writing and sound quality, but still just a demo compared to what I can do now. Another, yet untitled song should be up when my band actually records as a band, which will be soon. It will probably be available as a separate MP3.com artist that will be linked to from here.

I just found the joys of Mic'ing amps. It's kind of a pain, but it has a much smoother tone to it than going through the line in like I have in the past. You can hear the result on the remake of "Civilized?" that should be up shortly. Also on the remake, the soloing is much better, and a small harmony in the lead is added. Enjoy!
White Noise has officially changed its name to Rust due to an overwhelming number of people thinking "white noise" meant "white power." This is not true. It is a technical term. However, to comply with the wishes of the public, we decided we had better change the name.
