The Romp was a Santa Cruz California based band that Rocked the House!
Wining the 1988 Monterey/Budweiser's Battle of the Bands contest allowed the group to record "Once Just Ain't Enough" and "What Do I See In You".
The Romp went on to record 6 more songs shortly after their Battle of the bands victory: "True Signs Of Love","Ever So Love","Stop Look & Listen","Move On","Ultimate Dream" and "Go West Young Man".
After this last recording session, the band members went their own way to pursue their careers.
