Born outside Toronto Canada in '74, singer/songwriter Rhyme has been playing guitar since the age of 13. Influenced at a young age by the melodic sounds of Jimi Hendrix, his music still carries a hard-rock-funk-blues-based feel to it today. A self-taught musician, he mastered the guitar and went on to teach himself to play other instruments including: drums, bass, and keyboards to name a few.
Meshing these sounds together, Rhyme functions as a one-man band, writing, performing, producing, and arranging all parts of his music. His songs are upbeat, funky, and catchy, with driving guitar rhythms and messages rooted in freedom and being true to the essence of your soul. Electric Circus, with unrivaled energy, and a guitar solo that touches on being both technically and emotionally capable, is a favorite of audiences and MP3.com users alike. Listening to Rhyme's work is reminiscent of days past in the realm of vintage rock n roll. He plays from his heart, possesses true talent, and composes songs that are driven and have character.
