New Tracks
The latest solo releases from burn the beat are Metropolitan (chilled trance with echoing harp-like synths and layered strings) and National Anthem (an Orbital-inspired track featuring lush strings, spikey synth lines and a rolling drumbeat building up to a huge climax).
Paint By Numbers recently made it into the Electronica Top Ten here on MP3.com, some seven months after its original release. To celebrate, I've posted an off-the-wall remix of the track by fellow Leicester-based musician Dr Fingers. Although it was recorded a few months ago, this is the first time that it's been available on the internet.
I'm also working on a variety of collaborations with other artists, the latest product being the squelchy Acid Bath Remix of Cosmic Bubbles by Binary Baby. Other highlights include a remix of Queen 5.0 & The Aerodynamic Thunder by Wade Hamel, and Landing - Slow Burn, a song built around the trippy bass lines of the short instrumental track Landing by German techno group Westgang.
As always any feedback is welcome, and if you enjoyed
one of my tracks, why not review it at MyMP3Network?
Transcendence
burn the beat's latest album release is Transcendence. Mixing upbeat ambient, chill-out and electronica, the album features twelve tracks varying from the laidback chilled atmospheres of Ocean Wave and Brian Eno meets Steve Reich ambience of Pulse to the driving beat and layered pianos of Disorientate and Dawn.
