Based in Birmingham, Alabama, this 3 piece original melodic heavy metal band is rapidly becoming one of the best unsigned metal acts in the Southern U.S. Featured on such leading online metal sites such as ANTIMTV, The Gauntlet, Metal Fanatix and Metal Index, and recently playing Metalfest XIV, and opening up for Lizzy Borden/Yngwie Malmsteen, Levitation is fast accumulating a legion of believers. As of April 2001, LEVITATION are hard at work in their home studio ("Iniquity Studio") tracking for the upcoming and as-of-yet untitled full length release.
