| This is a classic Persian dance tune, which utilises for the first time in my music, a classic Iranian 6/8 Tonbak Pop beat, combined with new age synthesisers, and a quick break in the middle for an Armenian folk melody to creep in, definitely a tune to introduce you to the style of Persian pop music. |

| This song is dedicated to all Armenians who lost their lives during the tragic and horrific genocide at the beggining of the 20th Century. Armenian Dhol - Coupled with Electric Guitar...! This song was my first attempt at recording guitar. It is a rock ballad that begins with an old crackled recording of the Armenian national anthem, somewhat tired with age, and then bursts into a triumphant and proud melody that shows the memory of those who lost their lives will always live on. Using electric guitar, flute and piano, this song differs from my usual style but as with all my pieces containts influence from Armenian folk melodies, as well as the Armenian dhol. Many thanks to Hywel Davies for playing the beatiful guitar part in the song, I cannot thank you enough! |
