Wild Children, one of China's best modern folk bands, brings the distinct vocal traditions of China's minority culture's together with modern acoustic techniques. They are welcomed throughout China as one of the best young bands in this genre. With their roots in Lanzhou, it's rumored they walked to Beijing and gathered inspiration from the local people's on the way over. They made their first shows originally at Nianhua Bar and were later picked up and made popular with the help of Li Zhen Hua and his Mustard Seed Gallery productions. This song features the best representation of their style, you can hear it in their voices, the dual acoustic guitars and the subtle drum beats; a sound made modern that is uniquely Chinese. |

Deep Sleep, the artist's pen name, is China's first musician / artist to delve into the world of Rock Opera; yes, rock opera. Joining the ranks of only a select few throughout the world, he represents China as being the sole producer of this genre. The recording quality and mixing of this production rivals (in our opinion) most of all the past 10 year's of albums that China has pumped out; definitely a good download and a very unique addition to anyone's mp3 collection. |
