| We cancelled a show at The Saint in Asbury Park because of a snowstorm. We apparently impressed the pants off of Peter, who books the shows at The Saint, at our last show there because he left us this unbelieveable message on my answering machine. We must have brought tons of people that night or something. We did reschedule and play the show he mentioned on that Saturday with Daisy and became friends with them. They were from Athens, Georgia and played regularly at a club down there owned by a few members of R.E.M. About a year or two later, the drummer of Daisy left them to join another band, Counting Crows. He has been with them since "Recovering The Satellites". Geez, we knew him back when... |
