Sean Nós (Old Style) Irish Traditional Singing
Dedicated in memory of Joe Heaney, the champion sean nos singer who knew how to "Say a song", tell the story with singing.
Sean nós is solo unaccompanied singing traditionally done in the Irish language. For examples go to the National University of Ireland, Galway, web site.

| This is a beautiful song that I adapted just a bit in the way I sing the lyrics. It was written by the Irish poet Padraic Colum (1881-1972). In 1907, his first book of poems was published, WILD EARTH.
