| Here is King Arthur the blues & jazz Saxaphone giant from NEW YORK CITY! As a young Southern boy from Virginia, he focused on gospel & saxaphones. What he's doing now is all original and is basically a "Cool Jazz" sort of thing, like they play on CD 101.9. He grew up on church and small town values, and played in the Hayden High School Band in Southern Virginia. As a young adult, he played the bugle in the United States Navy, where he spent four years in active duty. Mr. James Allen his spiritual guide, with Barry Harris and Rodney Kindricks up in Harlem, got him back on his musical track. Recently, King Arthur has been performing in the Greater New York Area, bringing his talent and blues to such nightclubs as: BB Kings, Chicago Blues, The Groove, Club 101, & Absolutely 4th. King also gigs at private affairs and corporate functions. "Oh How I Miss You", was written for Arthur's youngest brother, Timmie, who died in March of 2000 from brain cancer. To alleve some of his grief, Arthur blew out this sax solo while on tour in Norway. King Arthur and his band, "The Green Machine" consists of Randy Gaffney guitarist, Jimmy Hill keyboards, Ed Manners bass and Bobby Watson on drums. | MP3.com CD: that BIG CITY sound -  buy it!
