* NEWS IN BRIEF * -Sunday the 29th of April, 2001- THANKS - A special word to say many, many thanks to my family and friends who have been supportive during the my development. You know who you are. LATEST SONG - I will be posting a song each week, the new one for this week is "Cyber Electronica", which is a grandiose heavy/ electronica script of Mother Earth talking to God. As always, more info is with the songs down the bottom of the page. DOMAIN - My domain name songcarver.com now (soon) goes directly to my mp3.com/songcarver page for simplicity... this site will now be updated weekly rather than weakly! Hopefully this will keep anybody who wants to know, in the know. GRANTS - I have recieved two grants from the A-Venue organisation for promotion of myself - I only asked for one! FRANK AAPE - I have commenced working with FRANK AAPE theatre ensemble on a production of an Australian Classic, "Summer of the Seventeenth Doll" APRA PROFESSIONAL AWARDS - My application is now in for the APRA awards which choose seven young composers and songwriters to recieve $10,000 each for travel and equipment. ABC RADIO - It looks like I may be on another radio interview due to the wonderful support of Steve Austin BAND DISBANDS - My Band "Goldsworthy Storm has had a peaceful split, due to differing directions of the members ------------------------------------------- If you want to keep track of SongCarver news then simply email subscribe@songcarver.com with a message saying 'subscribe'.
