Greetings folks...
I'm 117 days & 3,999.9 mi out since I left CAMBRIA. Injun summer in the HIGH SIERRA, WAS NOTHING SHORT OF MAGICAL! I rode a great Horse named 'TRY' over the crest of the SIERRA'S to look over the Owens valley at about 11,000 ft., hauling a mule named Mule along with me for the four day trip. The weather was great. It was a full Moon. I'lived along dozens of rivers as imade my way thru the Gold Country, then went sailing on Clear lake before heading up the Mendicino Coast and Humboldt Co. (the Pot capitol of the USA) playing small gigs and doin' little Radio Interviews on the way. I made my way thru the Trinity Alps before getting snowed in and out. Ispent about a week on the Sacramento River while I did a couple gigs at student union in Chico. I'm now camped on the edge of the EEL River in a Madrone Forest 8 mi down deserted PG@E road and plan to spend about a month here finishing up my new CD "LEAVE IT THE WAY IT WAS". My CD Every Last Mile sells so well with foreign Tourists I can't wait to get back on the road and visit my favorite rope swings and diving pools after a hard days work at the Trading Post in the National forests, then gig at the Lodges on weekends. I hope to begin recording mid Feb & finish by mid May. I,m just writting & rehearsing til then.
