A shamanic musician with a background of many exotic styles, it is natural for Dorje to go with what comes out of the vortex and just shape it enough so it retains its esoteric quality. Rather than dishing up garnished ethnic samples, each track on Thunder Trance is composed specifically for Dorjes distinct vocalising.
Some tracks feature Tibetan mantras surfing a textural tribal drum carpet to dance, float and fly on; others encompass lyrics pertinent to his musical travels.
