I'm not going to talk garbage about my music.
In my opinion it should be about the music not
who's cool or the current star Dj. Call me a
romantic, but whatever. People are going to
listen to crap no matter what is said or done.
For me its about being immersed by sound, creating
a psychedellic landscape through the structure of
the music. Most trance people talk about this, but
I find most of them pretty closed off to the
prospect that the same "magic" can be experienced
with other forms of music. To me, the gushy happy
synth build ups sound like someone's idea of a
bad joke.
I am more interested in making music that
straddles the line between "I have just arrived in
this weird new place" and with a groove or bassline
that is deep as f**k.
I have been a producer for almost 8 years now.
I always knew its what I wanted to do. I spent
years drifting from style to style as influences
changed. This has given me an ability to work in
any style and make something I can be happy with.
So if you want to be challenged a little by your
music without it becoming artsy crap, check out
my style. I make just about every tempo and I try
to make each track a journey of sorts. The music
is always moving forward. I am not one for
maintaining one or two ideas for 8 minutes.
I like to go places.

My dad used to tell me when I first started writing music that is sounded like an old bumbeating on a garbage can "trashcan boogie" he called it. So I made a track in his honor. It's a mix n match sort of track. I wanted tosee if I could maintain a concept withouta linear structure. |
