[02192002] I'm working hard on Manic, my next album. It's to be a dark thematic ambience album, the subject matter dealing with dreams (specifically, the unsettling and restless ones). "Vacant" and "I Broke It" are both completed and posted here. "Levity" exists as a demo on my own webspace. It's going to be the finale to Manic, giving the album a lighter twist at the end, because such is my outlook on life. I need to record more takes of the song, however. "Twofiveone" is another peice I have recorded, but, again, I need to record it some more to get it right. "Transcendence" is a spatial transition piece between the darker material and "Levity." I have it recorded, but I need to work on it more in software before it's done.

I was also working on a song for the SigMusic CD and for Redbook (to be the follow-up for Manic), titled "Tired Eyes." I really liked the song myself, but had set it to the side while I worked on stuff for Manic. I've posted some demos here and there, but the most recent demo is story on my own webspace. Sadly, I've lost the source file for the song (I was doing it in Reason) when I reformatted my workstation. I will work on restoring the piece sometime when I have time... but who knows when that will be?
