Rhinoted.
Rhinoted were originally formed in mid 1995 as a 3 piece
and later gained another guitarist in late 95 to bolster their
sound. Late 99 saw the departure of guitarist Ray Goring.
Rhinoted adopted in his place, well known local guitarist Paul
Fiannaca. Rhinoted now consists of four dynamic and experienced
musicians Jani Metsola (drums), Michael Boyd (guitars), Chris
Foster(Bass-Vocals)and Paul Fiannaca (guitars). Rhinoted's sound
is akin to heavy groove - describing their music as moody
abrasive chunk. Over the past years Rhinoted have been
establishing their name throughout Perth's heavy music scene. The
band aims to inspire and access the feelings of their fans with
their intense, high energy live performances of their original
music. Rhinoted are a committed, hard-edged band. They released
their debut cd "SHANK" this year and have another cd in
the pipeline.
