Matt Hopper is the lead singer of rock and roll band the Roman Candles. His solo music reveals a softer, more experimental side of the 22 year olds infatuation with pop melodies. Hopper recently won Alaska Public Radio Network' Song of the Year in the rock category for "Stick It To Your Man". Hopper's lo-fi charm has captured the attention of music lovers all over the world and he currently is making plans to begin recording his first offical release, due the summer of 2002.
