It is no secret that the formal wedding, one of the most joyous of times in modern life, is also potentially one of the most complicated and emotionally stressful events to arrange.
Marshland President, Roy Harrington, has produced a total recorded package which provides a perfect option for the musical flow of the ceremony. Created with the intent to provide an event-long musical tapestry, the WEDDING SONGS CD includes 16 lushly-produced selections, and features the performances of a group of Nashville's finest vocalists, musicians and writers.

" . . . Something Old and Something New . . . " The first four songs are love ballads selected for the power and sensitivity of their lyrics, as well as the sweeping scope of the underlying musical compositions. " . . . Something Borrowed . . . " These four are then repeated, but with tasteful lead instruments replacing the human voices on the melody lines.

" . . . And Something Blue . . . " A haunting multi-voice acapella version of "The Lord's Prayer" follows, with the same selection then performed by a string quartet. Stirring versions of "The Wedding (Bridal) March" and "The Wedding Exit March" come next, again featuring the string quartet. The program concludes with the first four songs in 'tracks only' arrangements. Complete lyrics are included with the CD and these accompaniment tracks are perfect, should the wedding arrangements include a guest vocalist. In CD format, the selections on WEDDING SONGS can be programmed (arranged) to fit specific musical requirements of the ceremony.
