My story;
Posted my first song as “Cut Throat Ronnie” in October 2000, got lots and lots of plays, plenty of fan mail, etc...
In a few months I had earned $150.
This is where the adventure started:
I received a check with the wrong name on it (an artist name), not the one that I gave to mp3.com (make payable to), I called and was told to fax the details and the check, I called again, no reply. I called another 15 times and eventually got greeted with an answering machine message every time. No e-mail replies. Completely ignored.
To this date I have still not received one cent of P4P money. How can an individual like me, afford to take a giant corporation like mp3.com to court???
