Welcome to the Psychedelic Folk Music of
Mark Abrams.
These are poems that I put to music as I
learned guitar while traveling the land
over a seven year period. They represent a journal
of my experiences... an extenuation of the
art and poetry I had begun then.
When I began to study computers it was in the hope
that someday or other I might be able to share
back with the community some of the wonder and
beauty which was shown to me during my journey.
While not a technically proficient musician,
and not having much in the way of recording equipment
I offer these songs as tribute to the good friends
I made along the way, and the good will of the
people who helped me along the way.
Psalm 90:17
The name of the style was suggested by a friend
of mine as descriptive of the sound of my music.
Another suggestion is 'California Ocean Music', which
I also like, but, you know, I could only pick one.
