This one gets the Johnny Dark stamp of approval... Total go nowhere melody, mostly held strings, but then right about at one and a half minutes you get a full out sustained Hover note over an all out Amen (love that break I do). Detuned ragga cut ups balanced out by pitched up ragga stabs and time stretches then, my personal favorite, pitched up soulful r&b cries in honour of my hero Ginuwine. Tech with cut up worm fills; Hover madness abounds. Just when it gets a bit boring another Amen drop. What a saviour! |

Pitched up with heavy reverb a vocal sample becomes a synth. Apache cuts to a 4 bit sounding bass and then drops to something like a Hover, heavy on the Amens. A cut up MC thrown in to boot. Indecipherable he stills keeps it real. I like to think he is saying something about the Evil Count Mecha. |

I don't even know where I got this random title from which should give some indication how much I think about naming songs. Guitars, feedback and I think an oboe or something weird like that chucked in so it's got that Trip Hop jazz feel (even I wouldn't download this song now). Some sort of homemade Hover and a never changing Amen repeating (oh ok, now I would). Once again I came all sneaky and threw the Hover on the two.. oh I mix it up to keep the Massive guessing! |
