DigInt News
2.2.03 - mp3.com is toast. go here if you want all the music.
1.12.03 - Apparently, not only is mp3.com limiting how many tracks, but they will only be listing the most recently uploaded tracks, so I can't choose which songs to load up. I had hoped to be able to stream at least the most popular songs, but apparently I will not be able to do this from mp3.com. Songs will soon be uploaded to the official website, and local streaming or BitTorrent downloads may be a possibility. Thanks everyone for listening, and please go to my official site for further updates!
12.18.02 - Well, I just got the latest newsletter from MP3.com, which essentially says this - either pay us a buncho of money, or people can only download 3 of your songs. This is certainly a depressing development, meaning that the majority of music on this site will be cut off. Therefore, I see little choice but to shift my music elsewhere, either to one of the other sites such as ampcast, or to my own webserver, now that I have some additional bandwidth. This has been a great site, and I'm glad that it's continued to support independent artists for so long, but unfortunately it's been going downhill, and this latest may be its final blow. Someone at one of the big telecons is probably making a hige profit on bandwidth while independent artists and everyone else on the internet suffers. You know, if I held up a bank, I'd go to jail, but these f***ers can rip off honest citizens every day of the week and have no consequences whatsoever. It's a damn shame, and they're certainly bucking for a lightning bolt. As long as the spirit of freedom and community exist, however, its only a matter of time before people stand up and realize they don't have to take this crap anymore, that all people in this country deserve better.
12.6.02 - Yes, unbelievably, there's actually a new song that should be up in a few days! This one's called Ced's March, and is completely different from my latest electronica tracks. This is also the first song with the new high-quality database, so it sounds a little sharper than the previous ones.

This is the most professional-sounding track I have written so far. It's good. Very good. |
