THE
MITCHELL FYSHWICK EXPERIENCE
URBAN
GARAGE POP FUNK
(or something)
The
Mitchell Fyshwick Experience plays original music and songs which are roughly,
very roughly funk influenced. There's also a good bit of Pop, Gospel and whatever
the cat dragged in thrown in on the side. Style varies from piece to piece,
but the one main theme is the creation of mesmerising, danceable pieces.

The CD is coming
along well. Last week we re-recorded Beina Messamolini from scratch and
it somehow turned into this Gospel-like piece complete with hand-clapping and
ended with a surprise visit from The MFE Memorial Choir.
We also layed down the instrumental part for Things People Do, but we
can't give you that until it's finished. Basically all we have to do now is
add 1 more song, finish the lyric overdubs and it's all done. Yay. Gve it a
few weeks for mixing and it'll all be there for you to boogey to.

Recorded Puzzle Pieces and Linger today. We were all feeling hungry
and food references began creeping into the song count-ins. By the time we'd
all eaten we didn't have time to put the other vocal tracks on Linger,
so you'll have to wait another fortnight. To tantalise you in the meantime,
we've included the out takes for it. It'll give you a good idea of what really
goes on behind the scenes in a recording studio and proves that musicians are
actually human beings too.

Dirty Funk Bass, jangley Guitar riffs and swirling Hammond Organ sounds blend into this very danceable funk-influenced song. |

From Nigel 01's other band - Ocean Moses. This is a groovey little pop tune that will have you swaying your hips and boogeying away with it' semi-Carribean riffs and soulful sound. |
