Q-Sign was formed by Chris McKay and Tom O'Gorman on St. Patrick's Day 1995. Attempting to replicate the sound of classic rock of the '60s and '70s, the band (which later included Michael Rietveld on drums and Andy Ainsworth on guitar) recorded one album before disbanding in 1998. Before the split, Q-Sign recieved the honor of being named one of the best unsigned bands in America by Musician Magazine. Eventually, Tom O'Gorman decided to return to his native Ireland and Chris returned to his solo work. He still performs some Q-Sign material. For more info, visit mp3.com/chrismckay.
